$27,000.00 HEL - Spent 7 years paying $237 a month - Paid $20,000.00 in interest at 9% - Condo was appraised by Ditech at $125,000.00. Had to move my mother, and purchased a house. Wanted to sell condo to my son - Never missed a payment for over 6 years - Was trying to work with Ditech for son to take over the mortgage - Owed Ditech 4 months $900 - Found a buyer for the condo, because I was not getting anywhere with transferring it to my son - Ditech was about to sale my mortgage to Green Tree, and I did not know - Sold condo after two years on the market for $39,000.00. DITECH had already hired an attorney, and I had to pay his fee. The realtor got $2,500, and I paid other expenses related to the closing. DITECH COLLECTED OVER $30,000.00 at closing, so I paid $50,000.00 for the Home Equity loan and got a few hundreds from the sale. The attorney in Fort Lauderdale told me that I will be getting a refund after I explained the situation to him, and I received in February 2010 four months later a check for $41.00. DITECH ADVERTISED A 5% RATE, AND I ENDED UP WITH A 9% ONE. I lost the condo, and I paid cash for it. Ditech would not collect $30,000.00 if it foreclosed, and is unfair. I saved it from foreclosure, and Ditech made me pay their lawyer $4,000.00 for a $900 debt. Ditech knew the property was on the market, and I had two buyers including my son. I give Ditech less than 0, and the company is DISHONEST. . |
